Hugo Harrabin is one of Tugo's two co-founders and a qualified Chemistry teacher. He read Chemistry at the University of Warwick. He then took a PGCE with Merit at the University of Buckingham and qualified as a teacher.
He spent six years in classrooms, at North Bridge House Canonbury in London and at Harrow International School in Bangkok, teaching Years 8 to 13 through both GCSE and A-Level.
What interests him is the gap between a student doing well in a lesson and still remembering it a month later, which is what the Tugo Method is for.
“I love helping students overcome the hurdles in Chemistry. My favourite is Organic Chemistry — I've spent years helping students who struggle with it finally get it.”
