Hugo Harrabin is one of Tugo's two co-founders and a qualified Chemistry teacher. He read Chemistry at the University of Warwick. He then took a PGCE with Merit at the University of Buckingham and qualified as a teacher.
He spent six years in classrooms, at North Bridge House Canonbury in London and at Harrow International School in Bangkok, teaching Years 8 to 13 through both GCSE and A-Level.
What interests him is the gap between a student doing well in a lesson and still remembering it a month later, which is what the Tugo Method is for.
“I love helping students overcome the hurdles in Chemistry. My favourite is Organic Chemistry, and I've spent years helping students who struggle with it finally get it.”
